HDL is an adult over 30 baseball league for Memphis area baseball enthusiasts. The league, in existence for over 65 years, carries a season from early April to October every year.

All games are played at Memphis area baseball fields, mostly Tobey Field, during the regular season with the highlight of years past concluding with the championship playoffs culminating at the spectaclular Autozone Park, home of the AAA minor league Memphis Redbirds.

The level of play is competitive though not professional, the desire is great though the ability may not be and the love of the game of baseball is the common bond that brings these men out week after week, year after year.
